Review:

I have loved all of the Heartstopper books, but this one brought a new depth to the characters. Not only is all the romance absolutely amazing. The way it handles mental health, anorexia, and anxiety is really amazing to see in a book. I feel like male mental health is not taken about enough in media so reading it was very eye-opening. In the beginning, I was literally dying because of how cute it was and how sad I was that the next book is not coming out until February. As always the books make me fall even more in love with the show and how wonderful it is that they stuck so closely to the books. My favorite one is still the first, but this one is definitely a close second.

Trigger Warnings:
Anxiety, Biphobia, Depression, Homophobia, and Transphobia (mentioned)

Synopsis From Book:

Charlie didn't think Nick could ever like him back, but now they're officially boyfriends. Charlie's beginning to feel ready to say those three little words: I love you. Nick's been feeling the same, but he's got a lot on his mind - not least coming out to his dad, and the fact that Charlie might have an eating disorder. As summer turns to autumn and a new school year begins, Charlie and Nick are about to learn a lot about what love means.
