Review:

I love how this book is structured! Not only was it an interesting story and plot the structure of the book allowed it to be a one-off while still having the ability to expand the world. The next book in the series is not about the main character but about someone else. The whole grace thing allows for interesting characters, and the author's creativity for the powers is impressive. These powers are clearly well thought out and different from most. The romance between the main chapters was great, and it was fun to read about their journey. The language in the book was interesting and had such a cool undertone of old English to it. The only part I didn’t love about it was that the villain in the book was crazy. He didn’t really have a motive for what he did, making him less of a villain. He was also was a bit easy to kill. It took a while, but it was a little anticlimactic. But I also kind of liked that because the story was about the life of these characters, not the death of the villain. This was a great book, and I would definitely recommend.
