Review:

This was a moving book! It was short and sweet. While having the happiness I have been craving. I liked the ending and how it ended on a slight unknown. At first the book was not my favorite because of a mix of the writing style and characters. But as the book developed I liked the characters much more. I loved to hear from the perspective of someone going through that change. I did not realize the main character was white and for some reason thought she was Asian but I think that is because of the design of the cover. This was an amazing and deep book and I would absolutely recommend it!

Synopsis From Book:

Alex feels like he is in the wrong body. His skin feels strange against his bones. And then comes Tracy, who thinks he's adorably awkward, who wants to kiss him, who makes him feel like a Real Boy. But it is not quite enough. Something is missing. As Alex grapples with his identity, he finds himself trying on dresses and swiping on lipstick in the quiet of his bedroom. He meets Andre, a gay boy who is beautiful and unafraid to be who he is. Slowly, Alex begins to realize: maybe his name isn't Alex at all. Maybe it's Sasha Masha.
