Review:

I don’t say this a lot, but I like the tv show better! The book was pretty good. I liked how they did an excellent job at having her make friends in the end. But they messed up her bullying in the TV show; she makes friendship bracelets for the entire class, but they threw them away, but in the book, her hamster died because of the edger guy. I think the book’s plot was incredible, but they executed it better in the tv show.

Synopsis From Book:

It's Christmas-time and Lily, an unlucky-in-love 16-year-old, listens to the advice of her lucky-in-love brother and leaves her red notebook on her favourite bookshop shelf. The book, and the dares inside it, have Lily waiting for the right guy to come along and rise to the challenge. When Dash finds her notebook on the shelves of The Strand bookstore, he accepts her challenge. As they begin to send each other on a scavenger hunt all across Manhattan, Dash and Lily are falling in love with each other on the page. Discovering if they have the same chemistry in person could be their biggest dare yet. A Netflix tie-in edition of the gorgeous notebook-swapping holiday romance from the New York Times bestselling authors of Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist!
