Review:

This book was sweet! It had the cute feel you get in those road trip books, but it also was a road trip book, which is my favorite. I absolutely love the tension between the characters, though, and how the writing is in between YA and New Adult. It made it very interesting to read and have a fun undertone. I like the nerdiness of the con and odyssey, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I understood more how that worked. It was fun to have a roadmap of their trip and have drawings of the characters because it made the book even more enjoyable. I am excited about Jaspers's book because it seems like it will be a little more enemies to lovers. The whole one-bed thing was a little underplayed. I feel like she could have done more to it. I liked the entire star aspect of the trip and the funny food incidents. This was a good book but not amazing; it was just what I wanted it to be, light and fluffy!

Synopsis From Book:

Charming, charismatic, and effortlessly popular, Conrad Stewart seems to have it all… but in reality, he's scrambling to keep his life from tumbling out of control. Brilliant, guarded, and endlessly driven, Alden Roth may as well be the poster boy for perfection…but even he can't help but feel a little broken inside. When these mortal enemies are stuck together on a cross-country road trip to the biggest fan convention of their lives, their infamous rivalry takes a backseat as an unexpected connection is forged. Yet each has a reason why they have to win the upcoming Odyssey gaming tournament and neither is willing to let emotion get in the way—even if it means giving up their one chance at something truly magical.
