Review:

This had a very interesting premise, but I’m still not sure that I could root for the main character. The way he treated the girl was just horrible. I feel really bad for her because it wasn’t her fault she was deaf. He was a bully through and through, but it was really interesting to see how that flipped, and it became a story of how he was bullied and abused throughout school and the challenges that created. I am definitely going to read the second volume now just to see what eventually happens. But I don’t know if the main character will grow on me. I love how interesting this book is and how it handles bullying from a different perspective.

Trigger Warnings:
mentions depression, suicidal thoughts, bullying
