Review:

Wow! Two five-star books in a row! I loved the way this book didn’t quite fit in romance and didn’t quite fit in Si-Fi it was in a league of its own. I really liked and connected with the characters, and it was so fun to see the story progress. I could sort of see where it was going, but I would never have guessed. It was so fun to read the story in parts; he has it set up into sections that actually made me read the book quicker because it allowed me to have actually achievable goals. I am so committed to this, sorry that I would literally read a sequel even though it finished great. This is one of the books that I’m like if executed properly, it would be an amazing TV show. It had that episodic feel without feeling stiff like others I have read. The live dory was great, and I was really rooting for them. In the twist, I completely felt guilty because we are the viewers and the author is the program. Tot was such a kind loop reading the end and realizing your entire life could be a lie, and you could just be living in someone else’s show. I liked how he put depths into the characters, and the book itself is rare. I would be interested to see whether his other books are as good. Great book 5/5 would recommend!

Synopsis From Book:

When Noa closes his eyes on Earth and wakes up on a spaceship called Qriosity just as it’s about to explode, he’s pretty sure things can’t get much weirder. Boy is he wrong. Trapped aboard Qriosity are also DJ and Jenny, neither of whom remember how they got onboard the ship. Together, the three face all the dangers of space, along with murder, aliens, a school dance, and one really, really bad day. But none of this can prepare Noa for the biggest challenge—falling in love. And as Noa’s feelings for DJ deepen, he has to contend not just with the challenges of the present, but also with his memories of the past. However, nothing is what it seems on Qriosity, and the truth will upend all of their lives forever. Love is complicated enough without also trying to stay alive.
